AnaMar AB is a Swedish biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery and development of novel biomarkers and therapeutic strategies to identify, prevent and treat chronic joint diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and osteoarthritis (OA). The Company is based in Gothenburg and has its R&D facilities at IDEON Science Park in Lund.

The company was founded in 1998 with the objective to commercialize a unique knowledge platform in the field of cartilage biology and associated joint diseases that had been built up over twenty years at Lund University, primarily through the research directed by renowned Professors Dick Heinegård and Tore Saxne.
