Staffan Encrantz
Chairman

Born 1951

 

Staffan Encrantz represents the majority owner of AnaMar and is a private investor who has led the growth and development of a number of early stage businesses to highly successful realizations. He invests in, or is on the boards of, several companies in the US and Europe.

 

Mr. Encrantz has previously worked with CII Carbon LLC (New Orleans), ABB Ltd. (Vasteras, Geneva and London), Skandia Insurance Co. (Stockholm) and in private law practice (Stockholm).

Ingemar Lagerlöf
Vice Chairman

Ingemar Lagerlöf is founder and CEO of LinkMed AB, one of the leading venture capital firms focused on the life sciences sector in Scandinavia.

 

Mr. Lagerlöf represents more than 30 years senior executive management experience from the Pharmaceutical & Biotech Industry, working for companies such as Sandoz (Novartis), Kabi-Vitrum (Pfizer), Fisons (Sanofi-Aventis) and MiniDoc.

Marie Carlsson

Marie Carlsson has several years of international experience in finance and accounting including seven years at the semiconductor Silicon Storage Technology Inc. in Silicon Valley. For the past five years Mrs. Carlsson has worked as the Controller and General Manager of Koncentra Holding AB in Stockholm.

Ingemar Aldén

Ingemar Aldén is CEO of Aldenco AB, a life science consulting firm, who also possesses over 25 years of pharmaceutical industry management experience with firms including Astra, Merck, Hoechst and Hoechst Marion Roussel.


Other board assignments include Chairman for Axelar, XSpray Microparticles, IsiFer, Lipopeptide, Moberg Derma, SoftCure Pharmaceuticals, Akinion Pharmaceuticals and Clanotech.

Torbjörn Björstrand

Torbjörn Björstrand is an engineer who brings over 20 years of executive management experience with leading Swedish companies. This includes Vice president of Fläkt Industri AB and Orrefors Kosta Boda AB, and President of Thule Sweden AB and Södra Timber AB.

Thomas Hedner

MD, PhD, MBA
Born 1949

 

Thomas Hedner is a Professor in Clinical Pharmacology, Department of Medicine, Sahlgrenska University Hospital, who has extensive research experience in cardiovascular, pain, clinical pharmacology, and medical entrepreneurship.

 

Prof. Hedner has published more than 400 scientific papers, and is an innovator and board member in several early stage pharmaceutical companies. He is also an innovator and board member in several pharmaceutical start ups.

Ingemar Petersson

MD, PhD, Consultant Rheumatologist
Born 1955

 

Ingemar Petersson is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Orthopedics and Rheumatology, Lund University Hospital. With 20 years of broad research and clinical trial experience in chronic joint diseases including RA, OA and chronic pain he has a broad network in the area both nationally and internationally.


Dr. Petersson was between 1997 and 2004 Medical Director of Spenshult Hospital, the only hospital in Sweden exclusively focused on rheumatology research and treatment of patients with arthritis.
